Actually, we went to see the Wildcats play against the Sea Dogs. It was a very one-sided game and I might have been disappointed if I were an actual fan of the team. The Wildcats lost 11-2. Of course, Darrin had to work at 10, so we didn't stay for the whole game. Which suited me just fine - I told him that sporting events are just too long; they should be an hour and a half or two hours, like a movie. My attention span is just too short for a three hour game. After the initial enjoyment of an evening out just doing something different wears off, I am more than ready to go home. So, two periods was plenty for me. In fact, I think they should change the game of hockey to two periods. That's long enough.
Tony the Tiger was there. When he says, "They're Grrrrreat", he must be talking about the Sea Dogs - he certainly doesn't mean the Wildcats!
The highlight of the evening - I regretted not getting one as well, when I saw how good they looked.
And, one last - I couldn't not add this one, even though it doesn't go with today's theme. When I got home from work the sky was magnificent - there were lots of different colours of blue painted in stripes across the sky: purplish-blue, greyish-blue, lavenderish-blue, pinkish-blue, orangish-blue, yellowish-blue, greenish-blue etc. etc. etc. You can see some of the gorgeous blues in this image, which is similar to "Winter Tree" on Day 26, but the colours are just so different! The sky had many warm shades that day and today featured cold shades of colour.
