~October 18, 2012~ Sunset

Just getting home from my evening walk tonight and the sun was setting behind the cars - it just looked so pretty that I dug out my phone for a quick shot. They are pretty little hunks of metal and they were nice and shiny today (that's not always the case!)

~October 14, 2012~ Grey Cup 100 Tour

They had a CFL train tour across Canada this fall - it made over 150 stops. Today it was in our city, so we went down to the VIA rail station to check it out. It was cold and rainy, though, so we didn't stick around too long.

~October 7, 2012~ Apples Again

Tyson wanted to go to the apple orchard so we went again since he was home for the weekend. He had been away at university the last time we had gone. He was the only one that wanted to go along with us this year.

~October 5, 2012~ Animal House

Tyson lives in the Carriage House, aka "Animal House" residence at Mount Allison University. They foster animals from shelters like the SPCA throughout the school year. This is a shot of him with his foster dog buddy, Major. They also had two cats and a rabbit living with them at the time.

~September 30, 2012~ Sticks

Dylan is always begging me to buy him more pencils. Does he want them to write with? No. He wants them to build with. Is this a sign of an aptitude for something? Mechanical? Mathematical? Engineering? Construction? If only we could figure that out - I'm sure he'd have a bright future ahead. I must say, that's a very creative use for a pencil case - most people would just put their pencils inside of it, lol.
